Mmm, there's nothing like the clammy feeling of humidity in your sleeping bag after a night on the prairie. And warm ticks for breakfast. Actually, the kids loved their first night camping in the wild--they even got to see a snake and some pelicans. And Kalan is showing early signs of pyromania after helping Mat build a glorious campfire. Nice.

Saturday Sports

A couple of highlights from last weeks games. Kal intercepts a pass and walks it into the opposing teams endzone. His first score of the season. Lucas kicks a whopping four goals and his slide tackles are a thing of beauty.

So, Kalan and Lucas drew this monster shown on these t-shirts as an entry into a contest for the Boden clothing company out of the UK. The prize for the winners was $500 and t-shirts with their design printed on the front and a description of the monster on the back. What do you know, they won. Pretty sweet for them and sweet for us — saved some coin on kids clothing. Nice work fellas. Gotta love the picture of Bryce making a face, classic!
